I think you really did a great job on this photo, even though (or maybe because) this is not really the style I usually like. There are so many well-balanced aspects that create a great atmosphere and leave an expression.

First of all the colour scheme - blue and red are two quite contrasting colours, warm and cold, fire and water. The colours also fit the different structures - blue/cold for the crumbled paint and red/warm for the flowers. Then there's the very strong contrast of the hand, which is outstretched in a quite aggressive way, holding in its fist the flowers, a symbol for love, friendship, something soft whatsoever. I'm also really grateful you didn't use roses for this photo - this way you can interpret this photo in so many ways, not only love but also friendship, an apology, a present to someone important (other than your significant other).

When it comes to the centred composition I do believe you know about the rule-of-thirds and that it's usually a no-no in photography, so I think you did this on purpose to add more strength and impact - and it does work. Had you placed the hand more on the right it would be more aggressive, had you placed it more on the left it would appear more hesistant - so this is a very good example of how composition can change an image. With your decision to keep it centred I guess you wanted to keep it open vor interpretation - in my opinion that was a good call.

My only negative critique is the fact that you de-centred the hand vertically (I'd say you should've gone through with the composition) and that the stems of the flowers touch the lower border.
Also the lighting on the flower is a bit too dark in my opinion, it takes away some attention and in addition the focus seems to be put on the wall and not on the flowers.

Other than that it's truly a well-concepted photo and I especially love how you created a field of interpretation to it <img src="e.deviantart.com/emoticons/c/c…" width="25" height="25" alt="" title="Clap" />
