Looking Over

I do not sense "Shame" in this photo. However, with that being said, I DO sense a bit of mind play and wordplay. Perhaps she is the opposite of shame? Her body language and her expression do not show shame. Her face does have emotion in the expression,but it doesn't seem on e of shame. Are you making her appear virginal? (the girlish shoes and the simple dress make her seem plain and precious) Or is she distant? Is she like this because of an act that she now views as shameful? She is in an old room is she not? To me, this girl is not the representation OF shame, rather a represtnetation of the many figures shame can render. Very neat photo
