Critiques
The unique and original perspective gives a whole new way of viewing the ordinary flower. It reminds us that one of the arts of photography is capturing an element of the world such that it makes us think, and in this re-appreciate the beauty that is right underneath our feet.
The colour of the sky is beautiful, and well balanced by the green.
The way the petals have a transparent quality... amazing!
My only critique is the stem in the foreground - it disturbs the near perfect composition by drawing the eye to an an awkward focus - it draws the eye back rather than upwards, as the rest of the image does.
That said. Amazing.
