The Light's Shadows

A good example of chiaroscuro, the photograph is painted well with light. Shadows getting darker along the edges, and especially the shadow of the model is able create the whole atmosphere which takes it's power from the contrast. He looks towards where the light comes from. That also adds meaning to the photograph.
In addition, the walls that seem like a part of an abandoned warehouse and the bicycle leaning to the wall complete each other well to establish the setting.
Only thing that I find unnecessary is the model being barefoot. I think it's not suited to the overall mood of the photograph. Apart from that, very successful work.
